Stephanie began experimenting with hairstyling by cutting her sister's hair in college, but she soon turned to formal training at The Delaware Academy: A Paul Mitchell Partner School.  During that time, she entered Beacon, a national contest for student cosmetologists.  As a winner in that contest, she attended the Professional Beauty Association Symposium in Las Vegas, NV, an amazing experience that reinforced Stephanie’s decision to pursue cosmetology as a career.   This symposium was the beginning of Stephanie's transition from student to professional and had a profound influence on her career.  Since graduating from The Delaware Academy, Stephanie has continued to refine and improve her technical skills by attending frequent in-salon training and by taking advantage of opportunities to train at Bumble and Bumble University and The Redken Exchange in New York City.  At Bumble and Bumble and Redken, Stephanie learned different approaches and techniques in styling, coloring, and cutting at two industry-leading academies. Recognizing that while trends change, some techniques are timeless, Stephanie works at incorporating new skills with those she has mastered.

Filled with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for excellence, Stephanie feels fortunate to belong to an industry that allows her to use her creativity and technical skills to make people happy.  Listening to what people want and collaborating to come up with a tasteful and flattering color, cut, and style is her goal everyday.  Stephanie is a Delaware native, and spends her free time with family and friends, playing with black labs, traveling, and cooking.
